WE ARE THE CRANE
The Paula Crane Life Enrichment Center, also known as The Crane is a branch of Clayton Center Community Service Board. At The Crane, we simply wish to spread the message of recovery through hope and compassion.
The Crane promotes recovery through advocacy, support, education, and service including:
-Offering holistic support to the recovering person
-Coordinating and linking people to services
-Providing education and vocational services
-Reaching out to the community to promote recovery
The Crane is designed and committed to empowering and supporting individuals affected by the disease of addition. We provide hope, health, and healing to individuals, families and others involved in an individual's recovery. Our peer-delivered services aim to help people initiate and sustain long-term recovery while gaining overall wellness through an array of support services. This is provided in a safe, comfortable environment where healing is encouraged and provided in an atmosphere of support and accountability.
AVA GALE ALLISON
Program Director
As a person in long-term recovery, I am pleased to be able to work in a program that provides the kind of services we provide here at the center. My recovery began in Clayton County 23 years ago, at which time I began volunteering at Clayton Center. I began employment with the CSB shortly thereafter, as well as obtaining my Credential in addiction counseling. I have seen the addiction services at Clayton CSB expand and grow to meet the high needs of the community during this time to include day treatment, drug court, and residential services, among others.
TRAKELL FEARS
Operations Manager
Currently, I serve as Operations Manager for The Paula Crane Center and wholeheartedly serve Individuals in recovery and show them healthy alternatives to living including Holiday celebrations, cooking and nutrition classes, computer classes and ZUMBA/line dancing classes to name a few. I also create all graphic correspondence for the center and moderate the social media and website account.
URSULA LUCIER
Office Manager
Working here at The Crane has been a joy. I’m the Office Manager and the Health & Safety Coordinator for our building. I have been here for 9 years. That’s been since the doors opened here in this building. So, I have seen many people come and go. Working to help the individuals with any issues they may be going through can be challenging but can end up being rewarding.
