Our Team Members

I began employment with the CSB shortly thereafter, as well as obtaining my Credential in addiction counseling. I have seen the addiction services at Clayton CSB expand and grow to meet the high needs of the community during this time to include day treatment, drug court, and residential services, among others.

My experience of becoming a staff member of Paula Crane Life Enrichment Center started in 2014 by volunteering for a year with a desire to help others with substance abuse disorders and mental illness. During that year, I obtained a certification as a peer support specialist and an Early Intervention Specialist for HIV/HEP C.

Currently, I serve as Operations Manager for The Paula Crane Center and daily I serve Individuals in recovery and show them healthy alternatives to living including Holiday celebrations, cooking and nutrition classes, computer classes and ZUMBA/line dancing classes to name a few. I also create all graphic correspondence for the center and moderate the social media and website account.

I proudly work for The Paula Crane Life Enrichment Center as a Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist assisting people who are in recovery from substance use and mental disorders. There are many pathways to Recovery, but what I have come to understand, my pathway is Gods’ way.

I started working with these amazing people on October 1, 2018 and it has been a wonderful journey. My co-workers are my family away from home and I always can count on them to help me get through whatever situation I am faced with. So today I do the work God has put before me: to serve and be an advocate for those who can’t speak for themselves.

Working here at The Crane has been a joy. I’m the Office Manager and the Health & Safety Coordinator for our building. I have been here for 9 years. That’s been since the doors opened here in this building. So, I have seen many people come and go. Working to help the individuals with any issues they may be going through can be challenging but can end up being rewarding.

Security/Transportation

For over fifteen years, Sonia has perfected her skillset within the administrative field and we are overjoyed for her to bring those skills to The Crane. Feel free to stop in any Monday or Thursday evening or on a Saturday to experience Sonia in action. You’ll certainly be glad you did!
